 That major Bills post I had planned for playoff gameday?

Maybe I just thought there would be more lurking in my COMC to-be-posted box?

Josh Allen is a perfect way to start any modern Bills post, but I'm sorta doing so with a throwback. Although it does lack the brightness of what one would expect from a Revolution card, this one does try to invoke a past design. Surprisingly, this doesn't come from Chronicles - a set devoted to bouncing through designs - but from Zenith in 2022.

Injuries definitely hastened his presence on the defense this season, but Dorian Williams has been perfectly fine with his role. The NFL has really been 'next man up' for a while now, so it really shouldn't be too much of a surprise to see him doing well. 

I'd consider an insert set named "Draft Diamonds" to feature picks later than the 86th one, but maybe this one instead salutes the Bills' ability to get a Hall of Famer out of a very obscure college. Kutztown doesn't make a lot of appearances on the back of cards, so that certainly counts as a rough where one would not expect to find a diamond. 

Now, bring on the typical Bills game with its dread and expectations!
