One last day of dime box goodies. I've got to get caught up again on those blasters from the Zellers closing sale.
I think this is the only card of Duane Ward from a major company where he's not in a Blue Jays uniform. Anyhow, a nice rookie card of an important player from the Jays back-to-back World Series years.
I really should have picked up all 3 of these Action Packed Max Patkin cards that were in the box. I was figuratively kicking myself for passing on the other two. And how could anybody forget his memorable cameo in the classic film Angel's Revenge? Definitely an addition to my collection of oddballs cards that really don't seem to go with anything else.
I've got a nice number of cards with throwback/retro hockey and baseball jerseys. I didn't have any featuring St. Patrick's Day jerseys until I pulled these two out of the box.
Another nice rookie card. It seems like Dave always had that intimidating stare.
Bring on the NHL season!
When I posted all my O-Pee-Chee cards from the show, I missed on this one. I blame the lack of Lanceur on the front.
Why not wrap this dime box raid up with up with back-to-back Hall of Famers?
Love the Patkin and Walker cards. I hope to find each of those in my future dime box "digs".
ReplyDeleteDave Stewart had an intimidating stare...but his voice sounded like a young Michael Jackson's....
