2020 Adventures in Repacks: Part 13.1 - Football Cubism

I busted the hockey version of these. I still have a basketball version to get to. But let's list a pile of cards.
2017 Optic - Stefon Diggs  - We're off and running! And first up is one of the newest members of the Buffalo Bills! I can hardly wait for Josh Allen to overthrow him by 10 yards!
2011 UD University of Texas - Bobby Dillon - For a set that would have a limited appeal, there were some pretty nice photos in the set.
2011 UD University of Texas - Brian Jones
1995 Finest - Byron Morris - Topps was the company that would give you 'Rock Raines' and 'Doc Gooden', but they can't give you 'Bam Morris'.
1992 Playoff - Eric Metcalf
1992 UD - Jason Hanson - I miss kicker cards. So much so that I'm probably scanning all the kicker/punter cards in this cube.
1995 UD - Sherman Williams
1993 Skybox - Barry Foster
2000 Ultra - Antowain Smith - While I will have to wait for Panini to photoshop Diggs into Bills colours, here's an actual Bills card.
1989 Topps Traded - Chris Burkett
1990 Pro Set - Cody Risien - Park creeper alert!
1999 MVP - E.G. Green
2006 Threads Silver /250 - Larry Kelley - The first of several numbered cards/hits in this. Probably my first Yale Bulldogs card.
1991 Stad. Club - Kevin Mack
1997 Skybox Premium - Charles Way
2002 Tradition - Mike Brown
2010 Threads - Torrell Troup - Bills card #2.
2002 Certified - Junior Seau - A nice shiny HOFer card,
2019 Legacy - Michael Bennett - One of a handful of 2019 issues in this.
1991 UD - Earnest Byner
1991 Pinnacle - Dennis Smith
1991 Pinnacle - Gaston Green
1991 Ultra - Mike Saxon - Another kicker.
1990 Fleer - Keith Van Horne
1990 Score - Jim Lachey
1995 Pacific - Rashaan Salaam
1993 Topps - Scott Mursereau
1992 Fleer - Andre Tippett
1996 Choice - Lawrence Dawsey
1999 Triumph - Jevon Kearse - A freaky rookie!
1992 Ultra - Steve Beuerlein
1993 UD - John Offerdahl
1990 Topps - Jason Phillips
2017 Classics - Franco Harris - I missed Classics this year. Legacy really wasn't the same.
1991 Stad. Club - Tom Hodson
1991 Pacific - Jay Novacek
2011 UD University of Texas - Vince Young/Jamaal Charles
1994 Topps - Andy Heck
1993 Bowman - Ray Seals
1995 Fleer - Mark Carrier - I hope you didn't think that hideous designs in 1995 Fleer were just limited to baseball.
1998 Prestige - Aaron Glenn
1991 WLAF - Stefan Malso - Kicker #3.
1989 Pro Set - Tony Eason
1989 Pro Set - John Offerdahl
1992 UD - Larry Brown
1996 Topps - Tony Boselli
1992 UD - Carnell Lake
1991 Pinnacle - Kevin Ross
1991 Fleer - Keith Byars
2009 Mayo - Shawn Nelson - You have to turn this over, but here's yet another Bills card.
1990 Topps - Rich Camarillo - Kicker #4.
1995 Ultra - William Thomas
1991 Stad. Club - Eric Bienemy - One of my favourite features about the early Stadium Clubs that included a rookie card on the back were the ones that pictured the exact same as the image on the front.
1992 Pro Line - Jim Everett
1990 Topps - Simon Fletcher
2017 Optic - Richard Sherman
1995 UD - Todd Collins- Keep the Buffalo content coming!
1991 Stad. Club - Mark Collins
1990 Pro Set - Pat Leahy - Kicker #5. It also includes another feature that won't appear on cards anymore - infield dirt.
1991 Pacific - Antone Davis
1990 Pro Set Super Bowl - Super Bowl XVI
2015 Sage Hit - Amarlo Herrera - The first of the autos in this. He played a few games for the Colts, but this appears to have been his only card. His wiki profile also includes this: "On June 17, 2017 it was reported on wwe.com that Herrera had attended a tryout for the WWE". I probably won't use a phrase like that again in these posts.
1991 Pinnacle - Kenneth Davis - Lots of Bills content in this.
1997 Skybox - Tim Brown
1991 Stad. Club - Scott Norwood - Including this, I guess.
1993 SP - Gary Clark
1998 UD - Terrell Owens
1991 Pro Set - Vinnie Clark

2009 UD - Michael Mitchell - The final card of the opening quarter.

  1. I'm not sure if I have any Yale cards in my Connecticut collection. I'll have to address that one day.

Kicker cards are great, especially the WLAF kicker! Jason Hanson was around for so long I legit had to check the Lions roster like three years ago to make sure he wasn't still there.

  2. Classics was a great product line of cards. Stadium Club too. But my favorite action shot was the 2000 Ultra of Antowan Smith.

  3. The 1990 Pro Set Cody Risien card is a nice find as it was pulled from the set to insert an Ozzie Newsome card at #75.
