2016 Adventures in Repacks: Part 40 - Preparation

5 boxes of wax and a complete factory set have been shipped to me from Blowout after my latest cash-in of my COMC credit. I am expecting these to be arriving on Thursday or Friday:

2013 Topps Prime Football Blaster Box
2013/14 Panini Signatures Basketball Hobby Box
2014 Topps Strata Football Hobby Box
2015 Topps Field Access Football Hobby Box
2016 Panini Donruss Football Factory Set
2016/17 Panini NBA Hoops Basketball Hobby Box

So, to downscale myself for the next two days, time to post some Dollarama two-steps. That means I post one 15 for a dollar hanger pack, and one Surprise Bag with random goodies. I'll start with the hanger.
2013 Team Canada - Sheldon Souray - It is always fun to start with a patriotic card.
1990 Bowman - Steve Thomas
1984 OPC - Tom Laidlaw - Can't beat getting a card from one of my favourite OPC designs.
1992 Score - Cliff Ronning - While this is squarely in the junk wax era, this set doesn't appear that often.
1991 OPC - Jim Johnson
2007 UD - Dan Cleary
2001 Victory - Mike Knuble
2015 UD - Jack Johnson - As usual, my hockey repack comes with a card or two for Dennis @ Too Many Manninghams.
1992 OPC - Kris Draper
1992 UD - Robert Reichel
2002 Fleer Throwbacks - Paul Baxter - WOO-HOO! A card from one of my favourite checklists of the 00's. While you had a few HOFers in the set, much of it was fan favourite types like Troy Crowder and Ken Linseman.
1990 Topps - Chris Chelios
1991 Score - Ed Belfour
1993 Leaf - Danny Lorenz - 1993 Leaf! Must show card back! (And there's more to come in tomorrow's post)
2015 Full Force - Oliver Ekman-Larsson - And ending with a recent card.

A couple keepers here, as well as some envelope fillers for future trades.

And the surprise bag:
I've got a holder for one of the cards I pull from the arriving wax.
The 2010s pack? Pretty blah.
The 1000 pt pack? That Schneider is actually pretty cool, and it is a horizontal card with a photo from the Stanley Cup Finals.
And the 1990s pack? I guess I kinda like the Kelowna Rockets jersey...

But yeah, I probably could have used the terms pretty blah to describe pretty much anything in this pack except for the Mathieu Schneider. The $1 repack was easily the better of the two. Tomorrow's repack content be more interesting when it comes to the $2 portion.

  1. Wolverines! I'd love it if you could pull the Devin Funchess and Devin Gardner RCs from 2015 Field Access, by the way.
