2021 Adventures in Repacks Part 27.4 - Hanging Around the 7-11

 Bringing it home!

ITG leads the way this time with someone Between the Pipes from Heroes and Prospects. While he'd be drafted by Chicago, he'd never make it further than one AHL game.

One of my fave masks leads the way into the rest of the cards, with Mike Smith's successful Wile E. Coyote mask. The online-combinable Compendium makes a surprise appearance on that Carter Rowney card, where he's obviously excited about something. Classic Nordiques! The Saint John Sea Dogs wins the minor-league jersey battle of the Hershey Bears. And Regehr is among the finest hockey players born in Brazil.
That Tambellini provides yet another piece of base card filler for a future mailer to Ann Arbor. It might be an early 90s base card, but Mario Lemieux is always a fun pull. And if you're an Ed Olczyk super collector, you'd love this grouping.
The Credentials card does provide a respite from the junk wax, but we still get a solid ending with a pair of HOF defenders. There's a Rangers alum among them, but it is a dupe.

Except for the Mario, this portion really went downhill after the opening grouping. But such is a repack, and it was still pretty solid on the whole over the full 100.

There you have it!

  1. Kirk Muller pulls off the upset.

Lidstrom, Lemiuex, and Stevens are good pulls from a repack.
