FG-1 - Nail Yakupov - Yup. That's a pretty good pull for the first goal subset. For a split second I was wondering what Fred Ewanuick was doing with a card in this set.
Team 8s - Jordan Staal, Ryan Murphy, Artem Anisimov, Jack Johnson, Frans Nilsen, Thomas Hickey, Nicklas Backstrom, Philipp Grubauer. Here's the promised 8s relic. I'm wondering if it was intentional, or the swatches just turned out that way with a white on the top and a dark colour on the bottom. Anyhow, the one here I'm happiest to see is the Ryan Murphy swatch. He's yet another Kitchener Rangers alum, and hopes to follow in the footsteps of Jeff Skinner with success in Carolina. The connection between these teams? They're all division rivals this season. Although the card # isn't too accurate. They're the Metropolitan Division, not the Atlantic.
