2021 Adventures in Repacks Part 7.1 - Cubism

Time to spend a week with another cube of cards. 5 weekdays is perfect for a stack of about 50 cards a day.

2013 UD - Cal Clutterbuck - The cube starts with a celebratory photo from somebody who wasn't known for scoring.
2010 Pinnacle - Shane Doan
1991 Score - Adam Burt
2018 UD Portraits - Eeli Tolvanen
2013 Artifacts - Evgeni Malkin - All-Star uniforms are always nice to find among base sets.

2003 SPX - Peter Bondra - It doesn't scan, but there's a hologram on the silver portion.
2009 UD - Kevin Bieksa
2002 Topps - Eric Brewer - A great look at the oil drop jerseys.
2003 Trilogy - Olaf Kolzig

2007 UD - Marian Gaborik - A dupe, but here's the first 2/14 content in this. There will be more content, and not necessarily dupe content.

2004 SPA - Jaromir Jagr - Another All-Star uniform out of the odd 04-05 set.
2017 UD Canvas - Ryan Getzlaf

2012 Black Diamond - Howie Morenz - A great card of a legendary name, and this is a slightly SPd triple diamond version as well. Easily my fave in this portion.
1992 Topps - Stu Barnes
2004 ITG Franchises - Gary Suter - With one exception that comes later in this repack, I'll always scan a Franchises card.
1994 UD - Ed Belfour
1992 Score - Gary Roberts
1990 Topps - Jim Johnson
1995 UD - Kelly Hrudey
1997 Pinnacle - Ian Moran
1990 Topps - Mike Gartner
1995 UD - Pierre Turgeon
1991 Score - Al MacInnis - One of my favourite things about junk wax in repacks is occasionally you find a new card for one of your PCs that you didn't have. Such as this Rangers alum card.
1992 Ultra - Martin Rucinsnky
1994 Pinnacle - Doug Brown
1992 UD - Mike Sullivan
2019 UD - Logan Couture
2019 UD - Ryan Suter
2019 UD - Artem Anisimov - Sens content.
1995 UD - Jimmy Carson
1990 Topps - Dean Evason

1995 Pinnacle - Guy Carbonneau - Guy with the derp face.
1994 UD - Mark Messier - Any appearance of Stanley on a card is worth highlighting.
2006 Black Diamond - Justin Williams
1995 Pinnacle - Esa Tikkanen
1991 Score - Stanley Cup Champions - Here's Stanley again.
1998 UD - Guy Hebert

1990 OPC - Kjell Samuelsson - Kinda surprising it took this long for an O-Pee-Chee card to appear.
1997 Pinnacle - Jere Lehtinen
2016 UD - Dwight King
2011 Contenders - Brayden McNabb /999 - The first numbered card.
1994 UD - Glenn Healy - Overhead photos are another base card rarity that is a pleasant surprise to find.
1994 Parkhurst - Pat Jablonski
1994 SP - Veli-Pekka Nutikka
1994 UD - Shean Donovan
1997 UD - Darren Van Impe
1997 Pacific - Frederik Modin
2008 Ice - Mike Green
2002 Topps - Danny Markov
1996 Elite - Sean Burke
2002 McDonalds Prizm - Dany Heatley - A shiny end to the first part.

3 comments:

  1. The Healy wins this round of scanned cards. Belfour and Turgeon were really good players, from the unscanned portion.

Not a fan of the All-Star uniforms.

  2. My wife is distantly related to some Clutterbucks. I wonder if Cal hails from Gloucestershire originally.

  3. Neat selection so far - Morenz, Mario with the cup, and Heatley McD in particular.
