2013-14 Score Hockey Jumbo Box Break - Pack #1

Well, I finally got my hands on a jumbo box, and got right down to ripping into it. Each box should contain 2 autographs and 1 "Team 8s" relic card. Spoiler: I don't know if hot boxes exist for this product, but I would certainly consider what I pulled to be one.

Here's pack #1!

52 - Jordan Hecht
75 - Cam Ward - Another in a great collection of photography in the set. They don't overdo it. There are also generic skating shots to go with them, so the spectacular ones really do stand out. It isn't quite on the level of UD flagship, but I'll bet there will be at least one card in each pack, whether jumbo or hobby, that will wow a fan of card photography.

89 - Zac Dalpe - While celebrating his goal, Zac was dismayed when he looked to the left, only to notice a far more attractive person had also scored.
13 - Kyle Palmieri - To make this even better, the text on the back describes his first hat trick, and an interesting fact that went along with it.
97 - Corey Crawford
27 - Rich Peverley
167 - Johan Franzen
176 - Damien Brunner - Another card with the Rookie designation that isn't hot enough to be a hot rookie. Remember this card and the next 5. You'll see them again.
190 - Nick Schultz
129 - Ryan Johansen
145 - Loui Eriksson
111 - Matt Duchene
166 - Niklas Kronwall - What a spectacular entrance shot.
316 - Travis Hamonic
290 - Ilya Kovalchuk
304 - Marek Zidlicky
243 - Devin Setoguchi
259 - PK Subban
326 - Hanrik Lundqvist
225 - Jarret Stoll
613 - Jamie Tardif (Autograph) - My first hit! Jamie isn't the most spectacular hit in terms of value, but it's an interesting one. He only played 2 games with the Bs, but did so after 450+ games in the minors. I'll always prefer a player I'm familiar with, but this one seems more special for the journeyman factor. It's a keeper! The card backs for these have some colour as well.

TF-29 - The Franchise - Alex Ovechkin. Not too much of a fan of this design. It just looks like a generic mid-range card.
645 - Alex Galchenyuk (Gold)
582 - Chicago 24 Game Unbeaten Streak (Gold)
569 - Team Leaders - New York Rangers. Since I've shown the backs previously for the base - here's what they look like for this portion of the set. I do like to see the PIM leader included.
565 - Team Leaders - Montreal
589 - Sidney Crosby - 5th fastest to 400 assists. And this one. This really screams out as an excuse to get another Crosby card in the base set. Again, here's what the backs of these look like.
609 - Charlie Coyle (Hot Rookies)
621 - Cory Conacher (Hot Rookies) - WOO-HOO! A Sen! That's worthy of a scanning, and I'll show the similarly bland back as well. The only good thing about the bland backs is if I decide to put these in a binder, it will be easy to use them with 18 to a page. It's also nice to see the alternate jerseys as well.
642 - Justin Schultz (Hot Rookies)
599 - Calvin Pickard (Hot Rookies) - I'll be looking for a second one of these for the masks binder.
176 - Damien Brunner (Gold)
190 - Nick Schultz (Gold)
129 - Ryan Johansen (Gold)
145 - Loui Eriksson (Gold) - You can really see how crisp the photography is here. You scan see the stitching on the pants. Just ignore the stick that appears to be heading somewhere painful.
212 - Erik Gudbranson (Gold)

111 - Matt Duchene (Gold) - Another celebratory photo. I opted to use the gold. If you were paying attention to the earlier listing of base cards, these 6 match perfectly with 6 base cards pulled earlier in this pack. Collation?

It stinks!

374 - Jakub Voracek
393 - Oliver Ekman-Larsson
372 - Brayden Schenn
439 - TJ Oshie
338 - Chris Kreider
383 - Martin Hanzal
406 - Brooks Orpik
456 - Steven Stamkos - How much white is too much white on a card?
540 - Mark Scheifele
470 - Matthew Carle
485 - James Reimer - Much like with the Cam Ward, we've got a great, sprawling shot.

504 - Zack Kassian - And to wrap the scans up, here's another one of many celebratory shots.
534 - Andrew Ladd
550 - Mark Stuart
