Ridiculous Injury Mojo!

Who among us hasn't dislocated a shoulder trying to rip a phone book in half?
Don't you go raising your hand, Steve!

At least this card also has some decent penmanship going for it and a nice look at a knuckleball grip.     So there is a little more here than evidence of someone that showed that Chandler, Arizona had a thick phone book in the 90s.

  1. What a great looking signature. Found a bunch of these sitting in a box at the card show I went to yesterday. The guy was asking two bucks each. I offered to take them all off of his hands for a buck each, but he shot me down. Part of me was bummed, because I could always use new stuff to send to fellow bloggers. But I was also kind of relieved, because there were 30-something and I didn't want to buy that many autographs of guys I hadn't heard of (there were may 5 to 7 guys I recognized).

  2. I once dislocated my shoulder ripping a phone book in half. Since it was before 911 was a thing, I was able to use said phone book to look up the number for emergency services.

Nah, my story is boring. Missed landing a jump while snowboarding. Somehow made it to the bottom of the mountain on my own. Shock is a powerful thing!
