2023 Adventures in Repacks - Part 30: Hanger and Hit

 

Another one of these. A perfect photo of an alternate jersey starts it off.

Scorelord? Groan. This batch of basketball repacks had a surprising number of cards from the 1990 Fleer Update set spread across the lot of them. And while he wasn't a superstar, that's still a very good player to land a rookie card from in Jason Terry within a repack. As always Draft Day Suit > Rookie Photo Shoot.

Roof cam! YES! There's a keeper!

Here's the hit! I had no idea who DJ Hogg was, but apparently he spent this past summer with the Raptors on their summer league team. Do I count a card from 5 years previous as a Raptors card? YES! 

Electric Court parallel? WOO-HOO! This and the Terry rookie are definitely cards I wouldn't have expected in the repack. 

Ending on a really cool photo for a Prizm card. While the throwback-ish Atlanta unis and backboard-cam are obvious, in hand you'll also notice that Sacramento was sporting their City Edition jerseys in the photo, and had the floor paint job to match. The background can make a great card even greater.
