A hockey card rarity

You don't see fisticuffs too often on a hockey card, but here's Trevor Gillies picking up 5 of his 95 PIM during his one season in the KHL

I'm not sure when the back photo was taken in comparison to the front, so I can't say which player borrowed the idea for the haircut from which - Trevor or his fellow combatant.

  1. Great card. The fact they have a fight on it and that haircut. Instant classic.

  2. Entirely possible this guy had more career games suspended than he did career points. I've been able to track down something like 46 career professional points.

So far I'm at 38 games suspended, but tracking down ECHL, KHL suspensions etc ain't easy .

Including separate 9, 10 and 12 gamers for various absolutely disgusting acts on the ice.

  3. And to follow up, he apparently now is a senior partner at a private venture capital firm run by and catering to athletes. The firm also employs Stu Grimson.

Needless to say, he has lost the mohawk and mustache. Wonder if any of his clients have looked up his history
