How does one make a simple swatch on a card more interesting? Have it come from an alternate jersey or from a uniquely obvious portion of the jersey! That's why I added these two cards.
The diamond-patterned jerseys may have not been the most popular with the fans, but I figured I'd want to get at least one of them in my collection. So, this entry out of 2019 Tribute became my choice for adding one of them to my collection, in spite of how minute the actual swatch is. I also learned that the name for this jersey design is 'gradient'. So, there's that as well.
Ever since I realized that various St. Patrick's day jerseys started showing up on relic cards, I wanted one. I finally pulled the trigger on one over the most recent Black Friday sales. There may have been less expensive options, but this one is nice and shiny and also includes an autograph. Plus, they just seem more appropriate on Boston cards.

I don't have much interest in jersey cards anymore, but I have had the idea of trying to chase cheap ones that feature alternate and/or throwback jerseys. The St. Patrick's one is really cool.
