2021 Adventures in Repacks Part 33 - Pre-Saturday Surprise

Another $2 into the cash register at Dollarama.
Even if it is from the early 90s, like the entirety of the Canadian team pack, the B&W Guy really stands out in this group. All 4 corners on the Petrov were dinged up - an impressive feat!

While HOFer Mike Gartner was the obvious 1000 point guy in that repack, Neal Broten also came within striking distance, hitting 923.
The greatness of minor league uniforms highlights the H&P pack, with the Everett Silvertips of the WHL doubling up with a pair of cards. The green sported by Fiala is the best of the lot in this regards. Fiala was also the only one of these 5 to not reach the NHL at some point, even as a 2nd round pick of the Wild.
And that leaves the 2010s pack, and the easy winner as the best card in the repack. A new Jeff Skinner for my Rangers alumni collection, and even better, it is a food-issue Tim Horton's card. Surprising that there wasn't a card from a flagship UD release among the three as well. This is my 55th card of his in that collection.

There you have it!

  1. Like that Tim Skinner card. Good pull.

  2. I wish the minor league cards would include ECHL teams like the Cincinnati Cyclones. Other than that, looks like it was a nice batch of cards!

  3. Four Dinged Corners sounds like a cool name for a LCS. And that B&G Lafleur is pretty sweet. I'm off to see what other cards are in that subset.
