Group Break Post #1: Package on the way, and repack video/cards

Good news! The package is on the way! I was given a tentative arrival date of 10/1. So, you might have a bit of a wait. They do throw random packs into their shipping boxes, but they don't always match with the sport on the cards. I've gotten hockey with baseball orders. If they are baseball, I'll include them in the break. If they aren't, I'll try to pick up something else.

This LINK HERE should send you to the portion of the Canada Post site where you can track the package. If it doesn't work, the tracking # is: 9351169190811224.

In the meantime, kill a few minutes of waiting and watch the repack box break video:

2008 First Edition Update:

Joe Crede (White Sox)
Jhonny Peralta (Indians)
Joey Gathright (Royals)
John Lackey (Angels)
Jason Bay (Pirates)
Ronnie Belliard (Nationals)
Tom Gorzelanny (Pirates)
David Eckstein (Blue Jays)
Elijah Dukes (Nationals)
Starquest Common - Russell Martin (Dodgers)

OK. 4 of the cards go to claimed teams with the Bay, Gorzelanny, Eckstein and Martin.

2008 Upper Deck Timeline

Felix Hernandez (Mariners)
Pedro Martinez (Mets)
Manny Ramirez (Dodgers)
Jimmy Rollins (Phillies)
Hernan Iribarren (Brewers)
Chien-Ming Wang (Yankees)

4 of the 6 go teams either picked originally, or assigned in the random. Good stuff! Only the Rollins and Hernandez were unclaimed.

2012 Topps Series 1

Jhonny Peralta (Tigers)
John Danks (White Sox)
Pedro Alvarez Gold Sparkle (Pirates)
Golden Futures - Paul Goldschmidt (Diamondbacks)
Kyle Hudson (Orioles)
Shawn Marcum (Brewers)
Hong-Chih Kuo (Dodgers)
Alex Rios (White Sox)

Only the White Sox guys were on unclaimed teams, which is a really good ratio. Nice that the insert card and the parallel were also picked up.

2012 Topps Chrome

Josh Hamilton (Rangers)
Joe Mauer X-Fractor (Twins)
Jose Bautista (Blue Jays)
Rickie Weeks (Brewers)

3 of the 4 are claimed/randomized. Unfortunately, the pack hit of the X-Fractor wasn't.

The autograph:
2004 Upper Deck Etchings Autograph - Marcus Giles

Argh. It went to me. There should be 7 hits in the break, counting this one. If I end up with 3 of the remaining 6 on my teams, I'll random this card off to a hitless entrant. I might also do the same with the Mauer X-Fractor. Also, if you decide you'd rather have the Braves in the break as your random team, and are enough of a Marcus Giles fanatic to want this card, I'll gladly trade you the Braves for your randomed team.
